Allow your resin piece to cure fully—this often means waiting at least 48 hours, but always follow the specific resin’s instructions. Once the resin is hard to the touch and no longer pliable, you can safely handle, sand, and polish it. Before starting, check the surface for any protruding edges or uneven areas.

How to Sand and Polish Resin With Embedded Flowers

Begin sanding using wet/dry sandpaper—start with a fine grit (around 600) and gently work your way up to finer grits for best results.
