Even though modern UV resins such as UV–Creation are formulated to be non-toxic and odourless, direct contact with uncured resin or inhaling fine particles should be avoided. Wearing gloves protects your skin from irritation, while a mask helps ensure you do not breathe in any vapours or dust, especially when sanding or mixing pigments into your resin.

How to Use Gloves and a Mask Effectively

• Gloves: Disposable nitrile or latex gloves are ideal. Change them as needed to keep your hands clean during the entire working process.
• Mask: A simple dust mask is sufficient for most craft environments, particularly if you’re mixing pigments or sanding cured resin. Ensure your workspace is well-ventilated for extra safety.

Avoid touching your face while wearing gloves, and wash your hands thoroughly after your project.
