What makes a coating UV-resistant and driveable?

UV resistance in a floor coating means the formulation is less likely to yellow, chalk or degrade when exposed to sunlight. Driveability refers to the ability to withstand vehicle weight, tyre contact and repeated movement without cracking or losing adhesion.

UV resistance and driveability become critical when a garage door is left open for long periods, or when the same coating extends onto an external driveway or parking area. In these situations, an interior-only primer may discolour or wear prematurely.
