How to Remove Fully Cured Resin from Fabric Safely

Discovering fully cured resin on your favourite fabric can be frustrating. Although completely removing set resin isn’t always possible, there are careful methods that may help minimise its appearance.

Start by Gently Removing Excess Resin

Use a blunt tool such as a spoon or the edge of a plastic card to delicately scrape away as much cured resin as possible without damaging the fabric. Avoid harsh scraping, especially on delicate materials, as aggressive action could worsen the issue.

Once the bulk of the resin has been lifted, resist the urge to use pointed or sharp tools that might snag the fibres.

Trying Solvents and Special Cleaners
