Practical tips for a clean, glossy cure

For the best result, measure the resin and hardener exactly as directed, scrape the sides and base of the mixing container, and mix slowly to avoid whipping in excess air. Pour in the recommended maximum layer depth, as an overly thick pour can overheat and cloud or shrink unevenly.

Dust, moisture and low room temperatures can all interfere with the finished gloss. Working in a clean, dry space and allowing the piece to cure undisturbed will usually produce a more consistent, crystal-clear surface.
