Practical steps for embedding objects

Whatever resin you choose, preparation matters more than the product itself. Embedded items should be completely dry and free from loose dust or residue, because anything trapped in the resin will remain visible once cured. For a suspended effect, cast a shallow base layer first and allow it to partially cure before placing the object, then pour the covering layer.
