Polyurethane floor coatings are the most durable plastic-based option for protecting floors from paint when the surface must withstand UV exposure, yellowing, abrasion, damp and high-traffic use. A two-component aliphatic polyurethane such as Prolux forms a tough, waterproof layer over concrete, fibreglass, ceramic, plastic and properly prepared steel.
