Rustins Acrylic Wood Filler is a fast-drying, ready to use flexible filler that is easy to sand, stain and paint. Suitable for interior and exterior use. Once dry, the filler can be painted, stained or varnished. Try a small inconspicuous area first as the filler may stain on the area filled.

Preparation: the surface must be clean, dry and free from all traces of oil, grease and dust.

Application: using a suitable filling knife, work the filler into the wood, allowing up to 2 hours to dry between layers.

Applying oil to a chopping board is very easy and will enhance the look and feel of the board. Regular application of chopping board oils will keep your chopping boards look great for many years.

It’s quick and easy to apply, just follow these instructions for great results every time.

1. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying the oil to the chopping board.
2. Apply the Cutting Board Oil liberally  and leave any excess to soak in overnight.
3. Once dry, buff the chopping board using a clean cloth. Repeat the process until you can drip a drop of water onto the wood and it beads up on the surface and does not soak in. This is how to tell if the wood is completely protected.

Re-apply once a month, or as necessary when you see that water is once again starting to be absorbed into the chopping board.
