This thickness is easy to manage, offering good clarity and minimal risk of trapping bubbles. Going beyond 2cm in a single pour, especially with standard clear resins, may cause excess heat and cloudiness.
The “Trasparente” resin is best suited to these detailed projects thanks to its clear finish and user-friendly application for layers up to 2cm.
When to Use Deep Pour Epoxy
If your design calls for thicker layers—perhaps for larger sculptures, embedded objects, or deep decorative accents—it’s better to select a deep pour resin formulated for greater thickness. Options like EpoxyTable 5-Five or the Epoxytable 10-Ten permit single pours of up to 5cm and 10cm respectively, reducing the need for layering and offering a clearer result in larger volumes.
