Thin applications allow air to escape naturally while curing, resulting in brighter, more professional-looking jewellery.
How to Layer Resin for Maximum Clarity
- Mix your resin according to the instructions (e.g., a simple 1:1 ratio if using the Evershine Collection Epoxy Kit), ensuring thorough blending to avoid unmixed patches.
- Pour a small amount at a time into your mould or bezel, so each layer is no thicker than a few millimetres.
- Allow each layer to cure fully before adding the next. For fast results, consider UV-curing resins such as “UV–Creation” for set times of 2–3 minutes under a lamp.
