Maximum Pour Depth for Casting Resins

When casting clear resins, strength and clarity both depend on respecting the maximum allowed layer thickness. Products such as “Trasparente” Epoxy can be poured up to 2cm per layer, while others like “Icrystal” Epoxy are suited for up to 1.5cm per coat. Exceeding these limits can result in poor curing, bubbles, yellowing, or reduced strength. For thicker pieces, apply multiple layers, allowing each to cure as instructed in the product’s guide.
