Mixing and Pouring Resin the Right Way

Bubbles most often form during the mixing stage. To minimise turbulence, combine resin and hardener slowly and steadily rather than using vigorous motions. Once fully mixed, pour the resin gently onto your sandblasted surface in a thin stream from a low height. This allows bubbles a better chance to escape before setting.

Tools such as a silicone resin brush are ideal for smoothing your resin evenly across textured or fine sandblasted surfaces. Brush evenly to avoid trapping air beneath the resin layer.
