Description

CROP 2K Fiberglass Putty is a professional two-component polyester putty reinforced with fibreglass for extra strength and durability.

It is designed for repairing cracks, dents, holes, deep cavities and damaged areas where a standard filler may not be strong enough. Once cured, it can be sanded easily to create a smooth, even surface ready for primer and paint.

What is it suitable for?

This fibreglass-reinforced putty is suitable for automotive, bodywork and general repair use. It can be used for filling, levelling and preparing damaged surfaces before painting. It is especially useful for areas that require extra strength, such as deeper repairs, rust-affected sections and surfaces exposed to vibration or mechanical stress.

Why is it good?

2K CROP Fiberglass Putty offers an ideal combination of rigidity and flexibility. Unlike conventional sealants, the presence of fiberglass prevents cracking or breakage after curing. The surface remains stable, smooth, and durable over time, even under mechanical stress.

Recommendation: Always sand the primer after drying for a perfectly even finish.

Instruction

1. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, degreased and sanded.

2. Mix the putty with 2–3% hardener.

3. Mix thoroughly on a clean mixing board using a spatula.

4. Apply the putty evenly to the damaged area.

5. Allow it to cure fully before sanding.

6. Sand the surface before applying primer and paint.

Important: Do not add too much hardener, as this may cause the putty to cure too quickly and can lead to poor adhesion, sanding issues or visible marks under the final paint finish. Avoid drawing in air while mixing.
