Instruction

Step 1 – Primer

1. Mixing

• Calculate the amount needed at 150 g per m².

• Mix resin and hardener according to the recommended ratio until homogeneous.

• Add white or black pigment (max 5% by volume).

2. Surface Preparation

• Sand with coarse grit (40–60).

• Clean thoroughly with a soft cloth or brush.

• Ensure the surface is completely dry.

3. Application

• Apply a thin, even layer with a brush, roller, or spatula.

• Allow to dry for ~12 hours (longer if humid or cold).

• Avoid touching the surface during curing. Minor surface irregularities will level out during the main pour.

Step 2 – Resin Application

1. Setup

• Apply masking tape around the perimeter.

• Pour rate: ~1.6 kg resin per m².

• Remove tape 1.5 hours after pouring (resin should be partially set).

2. Mixing

• Use a drill with paddle mixer (low speed) for 2 min or mix by hand for 4 min.

• Scrape sides and bottom halfway through.

• Divide into cups, add pigments, and mix each colour thoroughly.

3. Pouring

• Layer colours randomly into a larger bucket (do not over-mix).

• Pour onto the surface, keeping some resin for the edges.

• Remove air bubbles with a propane torch or heat gun.

4. Edges & Finish

• After tape removal, moisten dry edges with gloved hands for a seamless finish.

• Level edges with a spatula or scraper.

• Let cure for 24 hours.

• Optionally, apply a clear top coat or PoliShield scratch-resistant finish.

5. Optional Effect (Included IPA)

• Your kit includes 250 ml of 99.9% isopropyl alcohol for creating decorative lacy textures.

• Spray lightly over the resin just before it fully hardens for best results.

STRICTLY Do not apply heat after using IPA.

Safety – Isopropyl Alcohol (99.9%)

• Highly flammable – vapors can ignite from sparks, flames, or hot surfaces.

• Never use torches or heat guns near IPA-treated areas.

• Work in well-ventilated spaces.

• Allow 5–10 min evaporation before applying heat to nearby areas.

• Keep IPA at least 2 m (6 ft) from heat sources.

• Store in a sealed container away from sunlight or heat.

• In case of fire: use CO₂ or dry powder extinguisher only — never water.
