1. Measure the Components
Mix Component A and Component B at a ratio of 100A:50B by volume using a graduated mixing cup, or 100A:45B by weight using accurate digital scales. Do not estimate the proportions, as an incorrect mixing ratio may prevent the resin from curing properly.
2. Mix the Resin
Mix slowly and thoroughly for at least 2 minutes, scraping the bottom and sides of the container. Continue until the mixture is completely uniform.
3. Add Colour
Add a small amount of your chosen metallic pigment—gold, silver or copper—and mix thoroughly. Do not add excessive pigment, as this may affect curing.
4. Apply the Resin
Apply a thin layer of coloured resin to both broken surfaces. Join the pieces carefully and secure them with masking tape if required. Remove excess resin before it begins to cure.
5. Curing
Leave the repaired item undisturbed in a dry, well-ventilated and temperature-controlled area. Protect it from dust, moisture, children and pets. Allow the resin to cure fully before handling or using the item.
IMPORTANT
Repaired items are intended for decorative use unless the cured resin has been specifically certified as suitable for food contact. Do not use repaired items in a dishwasher, microwave or oven, and avoid contact with boiling liquids.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Wear nitrile gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. Work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product. Keep away from children and pets.
In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and plenty of water. Do not use solvents to clean the skin.
In case of eye contact, rinse cautiously with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if easy to do and seek medical advice.
Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not pour uncured resin into drains. Dispose of the product and packaging according to local regulations.
