“LIQUIDISSIMA” – Epoxy Resin For Creations & Jewels

TRANSPARENT EPOXY RESIN FOR CREATIONS / JEWELS 320-1600 GR [11,28 Oz-35,27 Oz]- liquid RESIN for very elaborate moulds.
LIQUIDISSIMA Epoxy resin is a two-component product based on epoxy resin and relative amine hardener.

Thanks to its special formula and the extended catalysis times, Liquidissima resin is suggested for castings at least up to 1 cm [0,39”] thickness.

Its formula has been developed with the aim of reducing as much as possible the appearance of unaesthetic air bubbles, as well as to obtain 3 essential characteristics: high transparency (water-clear), low viscosity and a longer working time compared to the traditional “TRASPARENT” product.
The excellent resistance to ambient humidity guarantees a glossy and transparent surface.

These characteristics make the LIQUIDISSIMA Epoxy resin ideal for artistic and jewellery with particularly elaborate moulds and for all the applications in which the least possible amount of air bubbles appearing in the final product is required.
The LIQUIDISSIMA product can be coloured with any epoxy dye (both in paste and powder) in a percentage ranging from 0.1% to 2.0%.

For best results, measure two components based on weight using a scale within 5% of the recommended mix ratio.

• Always mix the product thoroughly for at least 2 minutes, scraping all the surfaces of the container to ensure complete mixing.
• Try to use the product in a temperature-controlled environment within the optimal product specifications.
• Avoid high humidity or low ambient temperatures.
• Ensure that the surface is dry and any dirt, dust and oils removed to achieve optimal bonding. It is furthermore highly recommended to sand the surface (with sandpaper or mechanical preparation).
• Perform small preliminary tests to have a clear understanding of the polymerization features of the resins in your work environment and the compatibility of the resins with other materials.

This resin hardens longer than other products of our online store: in 36-72 hours, however, the product can remain flexible up to 10-15 days from the moment of filling, if it has very small dimensions (1-1.5 cm).

In case of contact with eyes, immediately rinse with cold water for 15 minutes and immediately consult a doctor.
