Product Description:
Two-component binder based on aliphatic polyurethane polymers, used for creating continuous, draining pedestrian and vehicular coatings with selected aggregates. The use of natural aggregates in different colors, shapes, and sizes allows for a wide range of customized solutions to meet any design requirement.

- Creation of continuous, decorative, permeable, non-slip, pedestrian and vehicular surfaces
- Gravel-effect coatings for urban areas, pool surrounds, bike paths, walkways, alleys, squares, balconies, terraces, common residential areas, courtyards, parking areas

Application:
Thoroughly homogenize each component for at least 30 seconds in their respective containers by manual or mechanical stirring, using clean tools free from any potentially contaminating substances.
Pour component B (hardener) into component A (base), respecting the indicated mixing ratio, and mix thoroughly until the product is completely homogeneous. It is recommended to start mixing briefly with a low-speed electric drill, then increase the speed to a maximum of 300–400 rpm.
Once the mixture is homogeneous, incorporate the POLIROCK 2K with the selected natural aggregates of your chosen grain size and color, correctly dosed according to their size, and mix thoroughly until the mass is completely uniform. The resulting mix should be shiny and consistent.
Mixing can be effectively performed using a concrete mixer, a horizontal mixer, or a planetary mixer.
Natural aggregates must be washed, free of dust, oils, greases, and materials incompatible with the polyurethane binder, and must have a moisture content below 3%.
On the previously prepared and primed surface, apply the resulting mixture using a screed bar, spatula, or rake, covering the entire surface to be decorated and coated. Compact and smooth the applied layer using a stainless-steel trowel or a rotary blade compaction machine.
Indicative Consumption:
1 kg of POLIROCK 2K for 40–50 kg of aggregates
≈ 18–20 kg of mixture per cm of thickness
