Practical Tips for Timing and Testing

• Follow manufacturer’s guidance: Curing times vary based on resin type and ambient conditions. For example, kits like the Evershine Collection use a 1:1 epoxy formula and should be left in the mould for at least 24 hours in a dust-free, level area.
• Check the surface: Gently tap or press a gloved finger against the back – it should feel smooth and solid, not sticky or flexible.
• Temperature and humidity: These factors affect curing speed. Cooler temperatures may extend curing times, while very humid environments can impact the finish. Allow extra time if needed.

When Waiting Matters Most

If you’re embedding items like dried flowers or letters, any premature bending or pressure can ruin delicate inclusions. Intricate details and custom pigments depend on the resin curing flat and solid in the mould, so take your time for best results.
