For best results with 3D Finish epoxy resin, correct measuring and thorough mixing are essential. Here’s what you need to know to get a flawless, strong finish on your models and 3D prints.
Precise Mixing Ratios: By Volume and By Weight
3D Finish epoxy resin consists of two parts—A (resin) and B (hardener)—and must be blended in the following proportions:
- By volume: Mix 100 parts A to 50 parts B.
- By weight: Mix 100 parts A to 45 parts B.
Using a good quality scale is recommended for accuracy, especially when measuring by weight. If measuring by volume, use graduated mixing cups for the best results.


Blending Technique for Reliable Curing
Once components are combined, blend the mixture thoroughly for at least 2 minutes. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of your container as you stir to achieve a fully uniform mix. Incomplete blending can lead to uncured patches or a tacky surface on your finished print.
