How to Mix Silicone Putty and Catalyst Paste

• Measure equal amounts: Take equal parts of the base putty and the catalyst paste, by volume – a kitchen scale isn’t required unless stated by the manufacturer.
• Blend thoroughly: Knead both components together by hand until colour and texture are fully uniform. If you’re using a non-toxic product like I–Gum Silicone Putty, gloves are optional.
• Use promptly: Once mixed, you have approximately 20 minutes of working time before the material begins to cure. Shape and press the putty around your original object as needed.
