Sealing and Lining for a Perfect Finish

Before lining, thoroughly seal every surface of your mould with several coats of a suitable sealant. Once dry, line all internal faces with a glossy release film such as Shiny Shield. This step ensures a brilliant, smooth surface on your final resin piece and makes demoulding effortless with reduced risk of damage or sticking.

Assembly and Pour Guidance

• Assemble the mould with strong tape and clamps, keeping all edges tightly sealed.
• Apply a release agent if using a non-adhesive film, or press the film bubble-free onto the frame for a glossy finish.
• After your resin pour has cured, carefully remove the sides. The shelf should lift away, leaving minimal finishing required thanks to the slick release film surface.
