Its excellent flow ensures the resin fills intricate mould details thoroughly, reducing the chance of trapped air. Always use clean, dry stirrers and containers, as moisture or dust can contribute to bubble formation.

Mix Slowly and Pour Carefully

Whether you use a traditional two-component resin or a ready-to-use UV resin like “Fairy Wings” UV Resin, mix gently and deliberately. Quick or forceful stirring introduces tiny air pockets. After blending, allow your resin to rest briefly so bubbles can rise to the surface. When pouring, do so in a thin stream close to the mould—this technique helps bubbles escape instead of getting trapped in the wing’s finer details.

Additional Tips for Bubble-Free Results

• If bubbles appear on the surface, lightly sweep over the area with a heat gun or blow through a straw to encourage them to pop.
