For surfaces where lasting brightness and clarity matter—such as outdoor patios, decorative paths, or around light-coloured stones—opt for resins specifically designed to resist UV-induced discolouration. For example, Polirock Polyurethane Binder remains clear over time, making it ideal for white or light aggregates. If you prefer an epoxy system for coloured stones, seek products with added UV filters or stabilisers, like the “Trasparente” epoxy binder.

Proper Application Matters

Yellowing can result not just from the binder, but also from improper mixing or uneven coverage. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for hardener ratios, curing conditions and recommended surface protection. Apply grout on dry, clean surfaces and avoid working in very high temperatures or direct sunlight, as this can speed up discolouration.
