Why Temperature and Humidity Matter

Resin floors require a stable environment during application. Both very high and very low temperatures can affect how quickly or slowly the resin cures, which impacts its final strength and appearance. Similarly, excessive humidity can hinder proper curing and prevent the resin from adhering as it should. For most installations, it is best to avoid extreme cold, heat, or moist conditions to minimise the risk of tacky surfaces, bubbles or weak bonding.

Practical Tips for Planning Your Installation

• Check both air and substrate temperatures before starting work; aim for moderate, stable conditions wherever possible.
• Avoid windy, damp or rainy weather for outdoor installations and ensure good ventilation for indoor work.
