For casting layers between 0.5cm and 2cm thick, “Trasparente” multipurpose epoxy resin is designed for reliable clarity and self-levelling properties. It’s ideal for small table tops, decorative pieces, and larger areas where a consistent glossy finish is required. If your project requires individual layers up to 1.5cm, alternatives like “Icrystal” also offer a clear, odourless solution. For thinner layers under 0.5cm, “Art Pro” may be used, but care should be taken to avoid issues with curing and surface quality.

Working with Large Surfaces

For projects exceeding 100cm in size, resin with strong self-levelling and bubble-release capabilities is vital. “Trasparente” is formulated for these conditions, offering excellent spread and a scratch-resistant finish, suitable for woodworking, art, and restoration. Always pour in stages if your intended thickness is near the maximum recommended, and allow ample time for even curing across large areas.

Practical Tips and Mixing Guidance

• Use a mix ratio as specified (for “Trasparente”, 100:60 by weight) for best results.
• Plan your workspace to be level and dust-free to maximise clarity.
• Mix thoroughly and work in manageable batches to maintain control over the working time—especially important on large tables or surfaces.
