Sanding diligently between pours is an essential step when working with wood and resin boards. This ensures your layered resin projects remain durable, well-bonded and visually seamless from top to bottom.

Why Sand Between Resin Layers?

Fresh resin bonds best to a slightly textured surface. When a cured resin layer is left unsanded, its glossy finish can actually prevent the next pour from adhering properly. Carefully sanding breaks the surface glaze, creating tiny scratches that encourage mechanical grip between layers.
