Layering for Thicker Resin Coats

To achieve a raised, thick effect, apply the resin in several thin layers, curing each stage before adding the next. This method ensures a clearer, bubble-free result and reliable hardening throughout the design.

Pour or brush on the first 2–3mm layer
Cure fully under a suitable UV lamp
Repeat until your desired thickness and dome shape are reached

Choose a UV lamp compatible with your resin for thorough curing. Allow each layer to cool before proceeding to the next. Work in a dust-free space to avoid imperfections. Take care to gently nudge the resin to the edges, keeping a natural domed look as you build up each layer.
