Preparing Materials and Workspace To start creating resin figurines, it is essential to have all the necessary materials available. On RESINPRO, you can find epoxy resin, colors, molds, and other accessories. Before starting, make sure to work in a well-ventilated and protected environment, wearing gloves and protective goggles.
Creating the Model and Mold Creating a resin figurine requires making a model to replicate and a mold to pour the resin into. You can create your model using polymer clay or plasticine. Subsequently, prepare the mold using silicone molds following the product instructions.
Pouring the Epoxy Resin Once the model and mold are ready, it's time to pour the epoxy resin. Measure the required amount of resin and catalyst accurately, mixing them thoroughly. Gently pour the resin into the mold and let it cure for the recommended time.
Removing and Finishing the Figurine Once the resin has solidified, carefully remove the figurine from the mold. If needed, you can refine the surface with sandpaper and add additional details with paint or other materials. RESINPRO also offers accessories for finishing and customizing your figurines.
