Preparing the Materials

To create a painting with epoxy resin, make sure you have all the necessary materials. Before starting, protect your work surface with plastic sheeting and ensure good ventilation.

Preparing the Support

The support for your painting can be a wooden frame, an MDF board, or any other flat and sturdy surface. Ensure the support is clean, free of dust and grease. You can paint the support with acrylic colors or leave it neutral for a transparent effect.

Applying the Resin

Prepare the ltahref="https://www.resinpro.com/product/crystal-epoxy-resin-transparent-crystalline-new-formula" style="color: inherit; cursor: default; text-decoration: none;">epoxy resinlt/a&gt following the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Thoroughly mix the resin with the catalyst for the recommended time, then pour the mixture onto the support. Spread the resin evenly with a spatula, creating thin layers. You can add colors and pigments to create unique artistic effects.

Working and Finishing

Once the resin is poured onto the support, use a torch to eliminate surface air bubbles. Cover the painting with a plastic dome to protect it from dust and let it dry for at least 24 hours. Finally, check that the surface is smooth and even, and add any additional details or finishes. Your resin painting is now ready to be displayed.
