1Materials Needed

To create a desk with resin and wood, you will need various tools and materials. Among the main materials required are high-quality wood, RESINPRO's transparent epoxy resin, resin colors, latex gloves, resin mixing cups, mixing sticks, sandpaper of different grits, epoxy brushes, and a brush for applying the epoxy.

2Wood and Resin Preparation

Start by cutting the wood to the desired desk dimensions and sand it carefully. Place the wood on a flat, leveled surface. Mix RESINPRO's transparent epoxy resin as per the manufacturer's instructions and add colors for customization if desired. Wear gloves and mix thoroughly to avoid lumps.

3Pouring Resin on the Desk

Once the resin is ready, slowly pour it onto the wood surface. Ensure the resin covers the surface evenly and eliminate any air bubbles using a heat gun or hot air torch. Let the resin dry for the recommended time, protecting the environment from dust and debris.

4Finishing and Maintenance of the Desk

After the resin has completely hardened, check that the surface is smooth and uniform. Lightly sand if needed to remove imperfections. Apply a coat of transparent epoxy to further protect your desk and give it a glossy finish. To maintain your desk over time, clean it regularly with a damp cloth and avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent resin damage.
