1 Model Preparation

Before starting to create a resin mold, it is essential to carefully prepare the model to be replicated. Ensure that the model is clean and dust-free to avoid imperfections in the final mold. Additionally, it is advisable to apply a specific modeling primer or putty to ensure better adhesion of the resin to the model. RESINPRO offers a wide range of primers and putties ideal for this preparatory phase.

2 Mold Making

Once the model is prepared, you can proceed with making the resin mold. This involves delicately pouring silicone mold material over the model and allowing it to dry completely. The silicone mold material is flexible and durable, ensuring a perfect reproduction of the model's details. 3 Extracting the Mold

Once the silicone mold material has completely hardened, carefully extract the resin mold. Take care not to damage either the mold or the model during this phase. A mold extractor can be useful for removing the mold without causing damage. RESINPRO offers mold extractors in various sizes suitable for any type of work.

4 Finishing and Ushering

Finally, after extracting the resin mold, you can proceed with the finishing touches. Any imperfections can be corrected using sandpaper or other modeling-specific tools.
