Materials Needed

To create a mold for epoxy resin casting, you will need some essential materials. Mold Preparation

To begin, ensure that the chosen model is clean and free of dust. Apply a thin layer of release agent on the model to facilitate its extraction once the resin has solidified. Next, carefully prepare the resin following the manufacturer's instructions and pour the mixture into the prepared mold. Allow it to cure for the required time.

Resin Pouring

While pouring the resin into the mold, make sure to eliminate any air bubbles that may form. You can do this by using a brush or a stick to move the resin and bring the bubbles to the surface. This step is crucial to avoid defects in the finished product. Once the pouring is complete, let the resin cure completely.

Removal and Finishing of the Product

Once the resin has solidified, you can proceed with removing the mold. Carefully extract the product and remove any resin residues or imperfections.
