Preparing the Model for Silicone Rubber Molding To create a mold using silicone rubber, the first step is to prepare the model on which the mold will be made. Ensure that the model is clean, dust-free, and well leveled. You can use materials such as plasticine, wax, or resin to create your model.

Choosing the Right Silicone Rubber Selecting the right silicone rubber is crucial to obtaining a high-quality mold. On RESIN PRO, you will find a wide range of silicone rubbers suitable for various needs. Make sure to choose a silicone rubber that is durable, flexible, and suitable for the type of object you wish to mold.

Mixing and Pouring the Silicone Rubber Carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing the silicone rubber. Generally, you will need to thoroughly mix component A with component B in specific proportions. Then, pour the silicone rubber onto the model, ensuring complete coverage of the object to be molded. Allow the silicone rubber to dry for the recommended time.

Removing the Mold and Finishing Once the silicone rubber has completely cured, you can proceed with removing the mold. Gently detach the mold from the model and inspect the final result. If necessary, you can refine the mold to make it smoother or eliminate any imperfections. Now you are ready to use your silicone rubber mold.
