Preparation of Necessary Materials

To effectively carry out an epoxy resin casting, it is essential to have the right materials. On RESINPRO, you can find high-quality epoxy resins, colored pigments, and other essential accessories for this process. Make sure you have epoxy resin, hardener, colored pigments, latex gloves, protective mask, mixer, and mixing containers available.

Surface and Resin Preparation

Before starting the casting process, ensure that the surface where you will pour the resin is clean, dry, and leveled. Position the surface horizontally to prevent tilting. To avoid air bubble formation in the resin, it is advisable to slightly heat it before use and thoroughly mix it following the manufacturer's instructions.

Execution of Resin Casting

Once the resin is prepared, add the desired colored pigments and gently mix to prevent air bubble formation. Pour the resin onto the surface evenly, being careful not to exceed the maximum recommended thickness to avoid curing issues. Use a torch to eliminate any air bubbles on the surface.

Aspects to Consider During Curing

After pouring the resin, cover the surface with a lid to protect it from dust and other external agents. Allow it to cure in the right place at room temperature and shielded from drafts. Respect the manufacturer's recommended curing times and avoid touching the surface during this process.
