Preparing the Necessary Materials Before starting the polishing process of the opaque epoxy resin, make sure you have all the necessary materials at hand. Among the products recommended by RESINPRO for this purpose, you will find specific polishers, pads of different grits, and an orbital sander.

Surface Sanding of the Opaque Surface The first step to polishing the opaque epoxy resin is sanding the surface. Use an orbital sander with a fine abrasive disc to remove the opaque layers of the resin. Work in circular and continuous movements until the surface is uniform and smooth to the touch.

Application of the Polish Once the surface is sanded, it's time to apply the polish. RESINPRO recommends using a specific polish for epoxy resins to be applied with a soft pad. Rub the polish on the surface evenly, making sure to cover all the opaque areas.

Final Polishing and Finishing After applying the polish, proceed with the final polishing using a clean and dry pad. Perform light and continuous circular movements to ensure a consistent and shiny result. Finally, run a soft cloth over the surface to remove any polish residues and admire the final result: a bright and perfectly polished crystal-clear epoxy resin.
