To polish objects in transparent epoxy resin such as RESINPRO's Crystal Epoxy Resin, it is essential to start by thoroughly cleaning the surface. Use a mild detergent to ensure all dust or dirt residues are removed. Once dry, check for imperfections or air bubbles on the surface.
Using the Sander
After cleaning, proceed with sanding the object. Use an electric sander with fine-grit sandpaper to gently sand the resin surface. Work in circular motions and regularly check the level of shine achieved.
Applying the Polish
Once the surface is sanded, move on to applying the polish. Use a specific polish for transparent epoxy resin like RESINPRO's Crystal Epoxy Resin and carefully follow the instructions on the package. Apply the polish with a soft cloth or sponge, using circular motions until the desired level of shine is achieved.
Finishing and Maintenance
After polishing, allow the object to dry completely before handling it. Thoroughly inspect the result, and if necessary, repeat the polishing process to further enhance the surface's brilliance. To maintain the object's shine over time, avoid exposing it to heat sources and protect it from direct sunlight.
