Transformator Preparation Before starting the resin process, make sure to thoroughly clean the transformer to remove any oil or dirt residue. Use a specific solvent to effectively clean the surface. Ensure that the transformer is completely dry before proceeding with the resin application.
Resin Preparation Prepare the epoxy resin according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure to wear protective clothing and gloves during this phase. Measure accurately the amount of epoxy resin and catalyst needed for the transformer based on the manufacturer's specifications.
Resin Application on the Transformer Once the resin is ready, start applying it on the transformer using a brush or a similar tool. Ensure to evenly cover all transformer surfaces with a thin layer of resin. Avoid dripping the resin and check for the formation of air bubbles during the application.
Curing and Finishing After completing the resin application, allow the transformer to dry and cure completely following the manufacturer's instructions. Once the resin has solidified, check for any defects or imperfections, and perform any necessary touch-ups. The resin-coated transformer will now be protected from external agents and ready for use.
