Method with Acetone

To remove the cured epoxy resin from a work surface, acetone can be used. Apply acetone on the hardened resin and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, use a scraper to gently remove the softened resin layer. It is recommended to wear protective gloves during this operation to avoid direct contact with acetone.

Heat Application

Another effective method to remove the cured epoxy resin is by using heat. With the help of a hairdryer or a heat gun, heat the hardened resin until it becomes soft. Once softened, it can be removed with a scraper or a spatula. Be careful not to overheat the resin to prevent damage to the underlying work surface.

Scratching and Sanding
