1 Preparation of Moulds

Before proceeding with the demoulding of the epoxy resin, it is essential to ensure that the moulds are clean and completely dry. Additionally, it is advisable to apply a thin layer of release agents or non-stick sprays to facilitate the detachment of the resin once it has cured. This preliminary step is crucial to achieve optimal results. h2gt2 Waiting and Curing of the Resinh2gt After pouring the resin into the moulds, it is important to carefully follow the curing times recommended by the manufacturer. Usually, the resin requires several hours to fully solidify, and it is crucial to avoid attempting to demould before the resin is completely cured, as this may damage the final product. h2gt3 Resin Demoulding Techniqueh2gt Once the resin is fully cured, you can proceed with the demoulding process. To facilitate this operation, it is recommended to slightly cool the moulds in the refrigerator for a few minutes. Subsequently, gently flex the mould material to allow the resin to detach gradually. In case of difficulty, a non-sharp tool can be used to lift the resin from the edges. h2gt4 Finishing and Care of the Epoxy Producth2gt After removing the resin from the moulds, you can proceed with the finishing touches of the product. Any imperfections or rough edges can be smoothed out with fine-grit sandpaper. Finally, to achieve a shiny and glossy finish, it is advisable to polish the surface with specific polishing products.
