In general, for 200 grams of resin, it is recommended to use about 2-3% of catalyst. For example, if you are using RESINPRO's Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin, you may need to add between 4 and 6 grams of catalyst for every 200 grams of resin. It is essential to carefully follow the recommended ratios to ensure proper catalyzation and achieve optimal results.
Mixing the Resin and Catalyst Once the correct amount of catalyst has been determined, it is important to thoroughly mix it with the resin. Pour the resin into a clean container and add the catalyst following the recommended proportions. Mix slowly and thoroughly for at least 2-3 minutes, ensuring the mixture is homogeneous. This process may vary depending on the type of resin and catalyst used. Once fully cured, carefully remove the product from the molds.
