1Surface Preparation

Before starting to create a transparent effect with RESINPRO resin, it is essential to properly prepare the surface you will be working on. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or dirt. If necessary, lightly sand the surface to ensure better adhesion of the resin.

2Mixing the Resin and Catalyst

Once the surface is ready, it's time to mix the resin and catalyst. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to ensure the correct ratio between resin and catalyst. Make sure to mix the two components well for at least 2-3 minutes until you achieve a homogeneous mixture.

3Applying the Resin on the Surface

After mixing the resin and catalyst, apply the compound to the prepared surface. Use a brush or a spatula to evenly spread the resin, making sure to completely cover the entire area. Work quickly and efficiently as the resin begins to harden after a few minutes.

4Drying and Refining the Transparent Effect

Once the resin is applied, let it dry according to the curing times indicated by the manufacturer. During this period, ensure that the surface is protected from dust or other external agents that could compromise the transparent effect. Once the resin has completely hardened, you can refine the transparent effect with additional layers of resin or polishing if needed.
