1 Preparation of necessary tools
To start the resin cleaning process from the terracotta floor, it is important to have the right tools. Among the necessary materials, you will need a specific detergent for resin cleaning, a bucket, a mop or a sponge, hot water, and a soft cloth for drying.
2 Removal of excess resin
Before starting the actual cleaning, it is essential to manually remove the excess resin from the terracotta floor. This can be done using a scraper or a spatula, being careful not to damage the underlying floor.
3 Application of specific detergen
Once the excess resin has been removed, proceed with the application of the specific detergent for resin cleaning. Follow the instructions on the product packaging carefully and use a mop or a sponge to evenly distribute the detergent on the surface to be cleaned.
4 Drying and polishing the floor
After allowing the detergent to act for the recommended time, rinse the floor thoroughly with clean hot water and dry it with a soft cloth. For an optimal result, you can proceed with polishing the terracotta floor using specific products for resin surface polishing.
