Creating the Epoxy Cube Model

To create a large resin cube, the first step is to make a model of the cube itself. You can make the model using wood, polystyrene, or any other suitable material. Ensure that the model is perfectly smooth and free of cracks or imperfections to achieve a perfect resin cube. Once the model is created, make sure to seal it with a primer or paint to prevent the resin from seeping into the material during the pouring process.

Preparing the Silicone Mold

To make the mold for the large resin cube, you will need silicone mold-making material. Pour the liquid silicone over the cube model, making sure to cover it completely. Allow the silicone to dry for the specified time indicated on the packaging. Once the silicone has solidified, you can remove the model, leaving you with a perfect silicone mold for your resin cube.

Pouring the Resin into the Mold

Once you have the silicone mold ready, you can proceed with pouring the resin. We recommend using high-quality resins such as those available from RESINPRO to ensure an optimal final result. Pour the resin into the mold, taking care not to create air bubbles, and level the surface with a spatula. Let the resin dry for the time indicated on the packaging to obtain a perfectly hardened and transparent resin cube.

Removing the Resin Cube from the Mold

Once the resin has completely hardened, you can proceed to remove the cube from the silicone mold. Carefully detach the cube from the mold, ensuring not to damage either the cube or the mold. Once the cube is extracted, you can admire your finished work and polish any imperfections.
