Materials Preparation

To create crystals with epoxy resin, it is necessary to source the right materials. On RESINPRO, you can find epoxy resin, transparent colored pigments, and specific molds for crystals. Make sure to have gloves, a mask, and a well-protected work surface. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for safety and proper material handling.

Mixing Resin and Catalyst

Once the materials are ready, it's time to mix the epoxy resin and catalyst. Follow the manufacturer's recommended proportions carefully to achieve optimal results. Thoroughly mix the two components for at least 2-3 minutes, being careful not to incorporate air into the mixture. Work quickly to prevent the resin from starting to harden prematurely.

Pouring Resin into Moulds

After mixing the resin and catalyst, pour the mixture into the chosen molds. You can add colored pigments or insert small decorative objects into the resin to create special effects. Let it settle for a few minutes and remove any air bubbles with a blowtorch or a stick.

Finishing and Polishing the Crystals

Once the resin has completely hardened, you can proceed to remove the crystals from the molds. Optionally, you can refine the edges with sandpaper and polish the surface with a specific epoxy resin product.
