1Surface Preparation for Epoxy Painting

The first step in creating a painting with epoxy involves preparing the surface where the resin will be applied. It is important to ensure that the support is clean, smooth, and free of dust or residue. Using a rigid support such as a wooden frame or an MDF panel is recommended to prevent the resin from bending or deforming once cured. To achieve a perfectly smooth surface, sanding the support and applying a primer to improve the adhesion of the resin is advisable.

2Resin and Color Preparation

Once the surface of the painting is prepared, it's time to prepare the resin and colors that will be used. It is essential to carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing the resin and adding the colors. RESIN PRO offers a wide range of resins and colored pigments specially designed for creating artistic paintings. Mix the resin with the colors uniformly and without creating air bubbles using a wooden stick or a spatula.

3Applying Resin on the Painting

Once the resin and colors are ready, you can proceed with applying them to the surface of the painting. Pour the colored resin in the center of the support and spread it evenly with the help of a spatula, making sure to cover all corners and edges.
