1 Preparing Tiles for Resin Application

To properly grout tiles before applying the resin, it is essential to start by thoroughly cleaning the surface. It is important to remove any residue of previous glue or mortar and ensure that the tiles are perfectly dry and clean. Additionally, it is advisable to use a specific tile grout to ensure better adhesion and long-lasting durability.

2 Applying the Grout

Once the tiles are ready, you can proceed with the grouting process. Using a rubber or plastic spatula, spread the grout evenly on the joints between the tiles. It is important to completely fill the joints and level the grout with the tile surface. For optimal results, it is recommended to work on a small area at a time to prevent the grout from drying too quickly.

3 Cleaning the Tiles

After grouting all the joints, it is necessary to immediately clean the tiles with a damp sponge. This will remove excess grout and ensure a clean and uniform finish. It is important to remove the grout from the tiles before it dries completely, as it will be harder to clean once dried.

4 Grout Curing

Once the grouting process is complete and the tiles are cleaned, it is important to let the grout dry completely before proceeding with the resin application. Generally, the grout takes a few hours to cure completely, so it is advisable to wait at least 24 hours before moving on to the next phase. During this period, it is important to keep the surface dry and avoid walking on it.
