Preparing Objects for Casting with Silicone Rubber To create a silicone rubber mold, the first step is to prepare the objects to be cast. Thoroughly clean the object and ensure it is free from dust or dirt that could compromise the final result.

Mixing the Silicone Rubber Prepare the silicone rubber following the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure to mix the two base and catalyst components thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained. Work quickly to prevent the mixture from hardening prematurely.

Pouring the Rubber onto the Model Once you have a homogeneous mixture, pour the silicone rubber onto the model to be cast. Ensure complete coverage of the object and eliminate any air bubbles in the mixture. Let the rubber dry for the necessary time indicated in the manufacturer's instructions.

Removing the Mold and Applying the Resin Once the silicone rubber has completely hardened, gently remove the mold from the original object. Now you are ready to use the mold to pour the desired resin inside. Once the resin has also hardened, you can carefully remove the finished piece.
