1 Model Preparation for 3D Printing

Before starting to create bivalve molds for epoxy resin in modeling, it is essential to carefully prepare the model to be printed. Ensure that the model is clean and free of dust or residues that could compromise the quality of the print. 2 Bivalve Mold Making

To create a bivalve mold for epoxy resin, materials such as silicone mold rubber can be used. Apply a uniform layer of silicone rubber around the model, making sure to cover all the details. Once the rubber has hardened, remove the model and create the other half of the bivalve mold. Join the two mold parts, ensuring they are perfectly aligned to prevent resin leaks during pouring.

3 Pouring Resin into the Molds

Once the bivalve molds are completed, you can proceed with pouring the resin. Thoroughly mix the resin following the manufacturer's instructions and pour it slowly into the mold. Ensure that the resin reaches all the corners of the mold to avoid air bubbles and ensure a uniform print. Allow the resin to cure for the recommended time before removing it from the mold.
