Preparing Cherry Resin

Cherry resin is a natural material that can be used to create beautiful crystals. To begin, it is important to collect the resin directly from the cherry tree. Once collected, the resin must be carefully cleaned to remove any impurities. Next, the resin must be melted in a double boiler until it becomes liquid and transparent. This step is essential to ensure the correct consistency of the crystals.

Creating Crystals

Once the cherry resin has been melted and liquefied, the creation of crystals can begin. Pour the melted resin into specially designed molds to create crystals of various shapes and sizes. Pigments or dyes can be added to the resin to obtain colored and customized crystals. Allow the resin to harden for at least 24 hours so that the crystals form properly and acquire the right consistency.

Processing Crystals

Once the crystals are completely solidified, they can be processed. Carefully remove the crystals from the molds and sand any imperfections with fine-grit sandpaper.
