Preparing the Model for Resin Casting

Before starting to create a resin mold for modeling, it is essential to prepare the model you intend to work on. Thoroughly clean the model from any dust or grease residues to ensure an optimal result. Additionally, it is advisable to apply a thin release agent layer on the model's surface to facilitate its extraction from the mold.

Creating the Mold

Once the model is prepared, you can proceed with the mold-making process. Liquid silicone is usually used to create a resin mold, which will solidify to form the mold. Pour the silicone around the model, making sure to completely cover the surface and eliminate any air bubbles. Allow the silicone to cure for the necessary time.

Pouring the Resin
